Impact :

The impact is the most difficult part of the swing to observe. Often a swing will look good as a whole. That is to say, the starting position, the rise and the descent will be technically good, but the golfer will continue to experience serious problems of unintended effects on the ball such as "slice" or "hook ". Again, the camera and the computer will help me to analyze the swing by stopping the image for a split second before impact. This allows me to see if the clubface is too open or too closed just before the impact.  A too opened club will cause a "slice", while a too closed club will cause a "hook".

Here is a series of pictures from left and right-handed students illustrating what I try to explain.
